Finally, I have my own bank account again. The ex went ahead and got his own account, and shredded his card to my account. He also took every single penny out of “our” savings account and put it in his new account. Which we did discuss, and that’s fine, but when his last bills went through, I ended up -($233) in my account.
He brought me money to put me in the positive again, but then asked me to pay the rest of his bills this month, as well as buy food, since he needs to save every penny to get himself to his new place down south. So I just got paid today, and I’ve already paid off $366 worth of HIS bills out of MY account, because it’s really just not worth the fighting anymore. Anytime I ask him for help, he freaks out and tells me I need to be more supportive of his struggles. (He’s freaking out about getting down there and not being able to unpack his Uhaul cause he’s old and can’t lift anything. He asked me to take a few days off to help him, and I shut him down so hard he gave me another lecture on being supportive and not such a bitch.)
Thankfully though, from this point forward…? (Hopefully) All my money is mine, and I won’t ever again have to check my bank account and find that he bought lunch for a bunch of his buddies, or that he pulled out a few hundred dollars cash for one of his kids, or that he forgot to pay a bill last month and now I’m slammed with a double bill and overage fees… My gosh! I never realized how stressful everything has been until the stress starts to go away.
Here’s to a better headspace and a better end to the year everyone! :D
Everyday Objects With Faces Are Awesome
When you walk around and look at everything around you, chances are, you may see a face. It may be human, it may be an animal, but sometimes you can see faces in inanimate objects. This is called Pareidolia: Seeing faces in random things!
